it is ok Jim. I have not been to the museum for many of years, it is quite good and they are often spending money on the place.

    Hey guys, how is everyone?
Jim, I was looking with interest at your photos of the Iriquois helicopters, as I used to get rides in them when I was a techo in the Williamtown Air Base control tower, back in the late 60's.
One thing caught my eye was a spelling mistake in the description of the Army unit in Singleton, (Matilda Place), can you find it?

Heaps of rain here again, Gympie may be in for another local flood, hope not, the local business people have had 4 in three years, must be a real pain for them, although they know what to do now to prepare for these events.

    Kind regards
    Brian

Yep, we have already picked it out Brian, the fourth line from the bottom, the word "strength" is mispelt. Isn't it funny how mispelt words seem to jump out at you. Actually after having another look at the sign, the word "Regiment" is spelt as "Reciment", really the sign is a disgrace and should be taken down and corrected!!

Brian, I think you might remember we discussed flying in the Iriqious helecopters in the late 1960's, I was a Sargent on Bofors at the time and we put a defensive ring of AA guns around Williamtown Airbase, we dug the guns in and camouflaged them (or so we thought) and they took us up in the air in the Iriqious to have a look at our attempts at camouflaging..........well, we were shocked, the guns stood out like you know what. The white sand that we dug into didn't help at all against the green grass!!
