The canopy is at hervey bay but i doubt I will get it because it may go for too much money

Mrs Aus and I decided to go for a drive today to check out the Masters hardware store at Rutherford and see how they compare to Bunnings. Finished up buying a new tap unit for the kitchen and a couple of flat pack shelf units for the lawn locker as I intend to have a major cleanout next weekend.

Mrs Aus bought some pot plants and a few other items. Holy mackeral, do they have a range of refrigerators there as well as washing machines, stove units and dish washers. One dishwasher cost a couple of grand and looked like a space ship. I'll think I'll stick to washing dishes by hand.

When we got home I installed the tap unit in the kitchen sink, took about an hour and a lot of straining, cursing and swearing, but I got there and afterwards celebrated my victory over the odds with a few beers.

I have only been there once and thought it was fairly similar pricing to bunnings but I have heard people say they are better and I have heard that bunnings is better. They have slightly different range of products

Yesterday, after tea, I assembled one of the flat pack shelf units, took me about two hours, that's one hour actually assembling, !/2 an hour taking screws back out that I put in too early and 1/2 an hour swearing and cursing. but I got there, so the second flat pack should be a lot easier.

LOL we have all done that I think.(screws in too early, have to take them out again)(oh and the swearing)
Like with everything the first time is a bugger , but after that it is all downhill.....well that is the theory anyway.

LMAO..I would of left them in & just used NAILS..If its steal i'd have welded..But then again it could of ended like the last big shelter i put up..It only got half way put together before i threw it over the back fence.(looked better over there anyway)...
