Hello All,

I had a late afternoon message on my mobile from the contact lens specialist on Friday. I rang them up today (Monday) and my contacts are ready for me in Brisbane.

The catch is that the specialist is going on holiday and is fully booked out between today and right up to the 2nd week after his return. Oh, that is August the 11th by the way. Arrrrgggghhhhh

Once I get them I will start the build up from half an hour of wearing the lenses per day. Then six weeks after my trip on August 11th I have to go back to make sure the contacts are still compatible with my eyes.

Apparently, the lenses can cause the eye to change shape and this means that the clearances have changed between the eye and the lenses. This could result in my needing a different set of lenses being made. Or in other words back to square one.

I am patient - I am so patient - I am a very patient person - NOT Arrrrgggghhhhh

Ok so a bit of an update. I've sorted the Subaru out for Karen.

Karen is still getting very tired & I worry about her since she won't take anymore time off work. We go back to the specialist on the 19th of next month. Karen also has an appointment to see our gp on Monday as she now has shingles back. Appently you never get rid of them once you've had them. Karen always has a couple of large spots all the time just under breast height. But this time she has them they are very dark very large & already halfway around her body.

Also I had a phone call from Jim today. We getting visitors on Saturday V8 Ian calling in to pick up the wheels. So I nervousness plus I just worry anyway. Lol.

Oh yeah guess what.

It's all booked.
