ended up being handy as a couple of guys were running late due to traffic etc
and along with being a hot day i put there boxes into the eskies until they turned up, prawns would defrost pretty quick in the heat i thought
i'm lucky that i have an engel and a couple of eskies
just a thought

Thanks Kevin, I've grabbed a heap of polystyrene coolers from the Vic market, and I've had the autofridge on max for 2 days now, I'm hoping I have it covered!
Fingers crossed!

Well all, I've been in touch with Ean's wife, she has been in touch with Gilbert's transport, and the prawns will be at the same place Monday morning.
I have rung Gilbert's too and confirmed with a guy in Adelaide that they will DEFINATLEY be there by 10am Monday....so we will meet at 10am Monday morning.
Sorry guys that's the best we can do at this stage.....
So.....shall we start again with who can be there and who can't, then we can work out how everyone get's theirs.......At least I have a large commercial freezer at work I can use to keep anyone's that cant make other arrangements......
Sorry guys (and Gals)!

I'm good for that time.
Would be nice for you to have the name of who is responsible for getting them off the truck.
That way we know who's preverbials need to be beaten with a stick if they aren't!!!

Who's the dickhead that looked at the consignment note and decided that it shouldn't be unloaded in Melbourne, even though that's where it was destined, and instead let it travel to Adelaide?? That, after Fraser had already contacted them about when it was hitting Melbourne, and letting them know we'd be there at 2.30pm to collect it.
Seriously!!!

I shouldn't (touch wood) have any issues getting there at 10am, but may have an issue with storage for the day. Can anyone confirm (Ean, Fraser) how big my 9kg box is please??
If I have any problems, I'll suck up to my alternate arrangement (steveG) to collect mine and I'll collect them from him later.
