May I clarify please - are these just the wiper baldes or do they include the wiper arms as well ?

And can I ask if anybody on the forum has had these yet, and their experience?

    Thanks!

    Set fitted - Thanks Sarah...

Seem to function just like the old ones, but slightly smoother across the glass.

    Biggest test(s) will be:
    - Longevity
    - How well they tolerate mud, grit and grime on the glass (cutting the blades)

But the frames appear solid and quality both fit and finish.

And Vlad - Yes, the normal style blades include arms... The flex style are an all in one body/blade

I fitted my set today and couldn't be happier.
It took less time to fit the Silblade unit than to replace a normal wiper rubber.
First time I tried them was with the washers and the jets didn't have enough volume to get close to challenging them, so I turned the hose on the windscreen and let rip with the wipers for a minute or so.
Once the blades had coated the screen with their silicone coating they worked an absolute treat.
The package comes complete with everything you need to fit the blades and the instructions are clear and easy to read.
I can't wait for the snow and ice to hit on Monday to see how they perform in Alpine conditions.

And yes Vlad, they come as a complete unit with the body and blade.
If you need to you can replace the rubber/silicone blade as per normal down the track, but with a 5 year warranty we'll have to see.

Thanks so much for the feedback Hymie and Tombie! My set are great thus far too - though my last blades were in dire need of replacing. It's a little odd not to hear them screech across my windscreen to be honest! I was actually happy to see it raining over the weekend so I could test them out

Vlad, just to confirm what the others have said - yes they have the frame as well as the silicone blade. This image shows you what you get:

    I hope that helps!

Hi Inc - I've had a quick look into it but as we only purchased Land Rover blades in our initial order I don't have the right ones for you at present. According to my research a Caddy will have two different size blades, a 24" and an 18" (60cm and 45cm). If you want them let me know asap as we'll be on the phone with the supplier in 3 hours time, otherwise I can add it to the next order. The 24" is outside the standard range so I need to make sure they have them available for immediate shipping. The 18 is no problem as it suits a Landy as well so we'll have them back in stock shortly

Or you could just get the 18 and do a side by side comparison test in the wet weather

For any vehicles that are also sold in the US feel free to plug your vehicle into this search engine, unfortunately it doesn't take Holdens/Fords and the like
    Wiper Search
(It didn't appear to have the caddy listed though)
