    DEFENDER Dual Battery Winch Kit

Hi folks and because my new USI-160 160 amp isolator is now readily available, I will be making up a few dedicated dual battery kits for specific Land Rovers.

The first, which I have already supplied a number of to AULRO members, is a DEFENDER Dual battery winch kit.

The DEF-USI-160 kit comes with the USI-160 Isolator, including the In-Cab Display-Control Module, two red cables and one black cable, all cut to length, with all heavy duty terminals are pre-assembled, heat shrink fitted, two Rubber Terminal Covers, a Length of 7mm Split Tube ( for the In-Cab Module wiring ) and a set of battery terminal clamps is supplied with the kit.

The kit is available with two cable size options.

    A 6B&S ( 13.5mm2 ) cable ( Standard ) kit is $220 including postage.

    A 3B&S ( 25mm2 ) Cable ( Winch ) kit is $230 including postage.

Pictures of the new Defender kits to follow, and you can get full details about the USI-160 isolator at the link below.

Is the kit aimed at TD5/Puma/TDI or all of the above (someone else is probably thinking about asking as well)

Have been thinking about re-jigging the dual batt system in my truck. might be worth a look, need to find 2 batteries that will fit in the box under the passenger seat. Any idea which battery will fit 2 side by side?
Don't need it for a winch (have PTO) but want to run a fridge and lights ETC.
