Hello all,
Olly from ProSpeed here.
Just to clarify, you can 100% jack the full weight of the vehicle on the tubular Tree Slider section of our Rock Sliders.
It took us a hell of a lot of design and testing to get to the point where they would do it with plenty of strength to spare, but they do. See attached photo.
They also do not transfer any point force to the body shell which would cause damage. Their strength is inherent in their design, and they spread the load evenly throughout the sill.
The only reason your sill would get damaged is if the sliders fitted were not rigid enough, and transmitted the point load into your sill. Ie. the sliders flexed. If they do that, then they're not doing their job properly.
Our rock sliders have two skins, and the tree sliders have a very specific shape and CNC machines bosses which locate through the rock sliders with a very tight tolerance. They're all small points, but that's what comes together to make them so strong.
On a bit of a side note, apologies for the lacking info and website, we're working on that at the moment, and will have a super-duper new website up and running soon.
We're also working hard to get our products available more easily to you guys through Mulgo Expedition Centre, and will do everything we can to make it happen.
Many thanks,
Olly
