Not as bad as it looks, believe it or not. Other than the rooftent, the two containers contain clothing, nothing more, and the jerry cans are left empty unless absolutely necessary. Recovery gear, anything heavy, lives in the back of the defender. But yeah, would still like to sit down sometime and shuffle things round a bit

    G'day All,
Well, I'm happy to say I'm getting good feedback on the first few dual carriers from customers.
It sounds like one of the carriers will get a really good workout over the next year or two. I sent one to a customer in Dubai (See pic below) and he will be travelling through India, Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as all his weekend trips around Dubai in the sand dunes etc.

So we'll see how it goes.

    Cheers, Murray

Congrats on your first international order

That griddle on the rear tyre looks a lot like what we were talking about a few months back....

Is that what that thing is,, I was thinking it was something to do with security,,
That's not a bad idea for storage.

I'm not 100% sure, but I reckon it is. I used to have one similar to that when I lived in South Africa - they were fairly common there.

    G'day Mike,
Yeah, we were talking about a similar setup. It's a good size and also a good use of space to store it on the wheel. One problem, I can imagine it would get pretty black and dirty from the soot on the fire, might be wise to cover it somehow.

    Cheers, Murray

In that location it would also get covered in reentrained road dust and diesel soot. You would want to clean it before each use...
