Complimentary Financial Health Check Up- In office or for interstate, phone/ email.

    G'day

Thanks for the positive responses so far and for those that have done the survey Financial Health Check Survey ( does need a bit of rejigging). I will respond to some of the queries and results within the week. For those of you that said you would like a financial health check up, please PM me and we can go from there.

Now I know no one wakes up and says, "Geez today I want to go see a financial planner". But how many of us think " Geez I wish I could manage my cash flow better, build up a deposit for a mortgage, pay off my mortgage quicker, build some wealth aside from relying on super, restructure my debt, reduce the amount of tax that I pay and so forth". I'm betting some of you and people you know do think that.

If so, send me a message and let's organise a time to catch up. One aspect that has shown up from my survey is that everyone wants to be better off financially if they can be, but the majority have either never seen a financial planner or had a financial plan done. The first meeting with myself is complimentary, it is then up to you whether you wish to pursue anything further. If not you, then perhaps someone you know who may benefit. I'm booking in people now, so let me know.

Also note, a lot of what I do is not just about working towards a great retirement, but improving or protecting ones situation now and in the future.

    Food for thought?

    • Today’s thirty and forty-something’s face a retirement spanning more than two decades, and demographic change suggests only an optimist would rely on the age pension.
    • There is no doubt that Australians who start planning early, with the benefit of high quality advice to help them make informed decisions about financial challenges and opportunities throughout their lives, will end up better off.
    • The Yale University graduating class of 1953 was asked the following question, “How many of you have clearly established goals for your life? Three percent of the class replied that they had clearly established goals. Twenty years later the group was surveyed again and it was found that the original 3% with clearly established goals had greater financial net worth than the remaining 97% combined.
    • Recent article in the news, showed that many people are using their super to payout their mortgage at retirement and then having to rely on the Aged Pension.

For the financial health check up, I can conduct in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Tweed. If you are interstate, we can hold it over the phone and via email. From that, anyone who decides that they then want to proceed with getting a plan done, I am in the process of working on a discount for AULRO members. If you have any questions, queries or concerns about anything, please do not hesitate to voice them or PM me directly.

That's all for today, have a great day,

    Regards

    Stevo

P.S. If you would like a really simple and effective tool for budgetting, let me know and I can email you one.

Do you work for any particular financial institutions? ie Are commissions paid by them, to you, to sign up their products?

Hi CapabaleCate, thanks for that question, it is a commonly asked question. We are non aligned to any financial institution and we are not "product floggers". That is more the transaction based side of planning, we work moreso on the relationship side. Hence we are fee for service and it is about providing the relevant advice for a client to be able to achieve their goals. We do use a list of approved products if they are required to achieve a clients goals and note goals come in all different shapes and sizes. Hope that answers your question,

    Regards
