    DEFENDER RECOVERY POINTS

Defender recovery points are an issue for many defender owners.
I have finally got a set that are designed to be tough and fit well with the vehicle chassis design.
These are a bit more expensive than the Discovery ones, but they are also bigger and stronger.
As with all my recovery points, I make them from Australian 12mm plate steel, and recommend them to be attached with 12mm 10.9 grade High tensile bolts and nylock nuts.
10.9 = Tensile strength 1,000mpa on metric high tensile bolts, the relevant property class is indicated on the head (refer AS1110)

    Price is $115.00 Including delivery

For orders please send your full name, address and daytime phone number in a PM, i will then send banking details
I also have Paypal for those that prefer.

NEWS FLASH I have 10 sets of 10mm recovery points as my laser guy got the thickness wrong so these are available for $100.00 including delivery.
4 sets yellow and 6 sets red.

    Question

Do you have any images of them, and where & how they attach to a Defender?

I've got an ARB bull bar fitted to my defender and am keen to fit a recovery point before a trip to Fraser Island in 6-7 weeks. I, too, am keen to see where/how these get fitted and find out whether or not they can be fitted successfully with my current bullbar.

    Thanks in advance.

Any chance that someone has a picture of a set fitted...ideally WITH an ARB (or similar) bar on the front as well?

I've already got a Philco steering guard bolted up underneath, but forward facing recovery points are next on the "stuff-I-want" list.

Problem is I want a set of recovery points that aren't about two foot behind the front of the bar. It's okay when you're in a garage...they're real easy to get at. But when you're stuck axle deep in something that doesn't want to let go...having to go diving under the car to hook up isn't much fun.
