I dont agree that a high pressure spray is a "no no". I have had ny d2 on the beach since new on a regular holiday and day trips etc and not a hint of rust. The problem with high pressure spray is lack of volume to wash stuff away. So i stick the hose in and wash rails from EVERY hole in the rail and then use a high pressure spray because its the only thing that will get salt off the inside ceiling of the rail...then water hose again to wash it all away. There are no short cuts with rail washing after beach work. A few years ago i also atomised Xtroll in the rails using a spray gun with the pressure cranked up to coat the rails.
Cheers
