Tis a great idea but Yeah the price is up there and yes it could be reduced with different manufacturing technique`s at a cost . This could be off set in the country of the worlds largest photo copier if those that dont care of the Aussie made idea
Im not in the market for one sorry but good onya for having a go mate
    Thanks Rangieman!

You guys have been having a field day with this one today, I guess all I can say is this we have supplied products to many different industries from abattoirs to defence all customers having there own specs and requirements.

Everyone has ideas, people say thats a good idea or not a bad idea but I would do it differently and thats fine.

There was some comments there is no innovation and that is fine though I think its a step forward from sticking your hose in the chassis.
    Don't like doing this
Maxtraxx people lived without them years ago but they make it a lot easier to use them.
Staun deflators you could just use your finger or a stick to deflate your tyres then some brass mechs that cost e.g. $90
Roof Top Tent maybe just don't be lazy and set up that tent we used to years ago, but be a lot easier to just fold one out thats on my roof?
Apple People loved mp3 players with 100 songs on them though, it would be cool if we could put a 1000 songs on one!

Thanks again for the interest and support

I dont agree that a high pressure spray is a "no no". I have had ny d2 on the beach since new on a regular holiday and day trips etc and not a hint of rust. The problem with high pressure spray is lack of volume to wash stuff away. So i stick the hose in and wash rails from EVERY hole in the rail and then use a high pressure spray because its the only thing that will get salt off the inside ceiling of the rail...then water hose again to wash it all away. There are no short cuts with rail washing after beach work. A few years ago i also atomised Xtroll in the rails using a spray gun with the pressure cranked up to coat the rails.

    Cheers

    Aulros,
I have been paying close attention to the feedback, criticism and suggestions on this thread.
Interestingly a buddy (fellow AULRO) just came back from Fraser Island after 8 days of holiday there. I gave him the crc to use and he had much of the same suggestions for modification and refinement as what has been suggested here.

Its clear we need to go back & redesign some features to diversify the function of the CRC a little more. From this we will integrated a sprayer to wash other parts of the chassis/ car with addition to possibly changing the shape of the CRC. We will also look at importing alot of the materials to reduce costs providing you with a lower outlay on your investment.

We are also going to add alot more content on the website to explain each feature and component of the CRC and why we have used some of the materials we have.

    Whats your thoughts?
    Thanks again for the feedback

Sounds good! I really dont think anything is ever "Finished" or "Perfect" further product development can only make it better! I'll be watching with interest because I hate cleaning cars and anything to make it easier is good!

I love it. If be buying 3 as Christmas gifts right now. Don't be put off mate. And your examples are dead right: maxtrax etc ( btw plastic injected- cost of a shot estimates???? $10
    Mould estimates?? 100k

People suggesting the injection route may not have had to build a mould. Or Maybe prices have dropped in the last 12 months but I'm guessing over $14 k for the mould and then you're looking at minimum run of 3k. Yep, they'll be cheap but even getting the right pellets etc will cost you.

Anyway. Good luck. Let us know when you're selling.

    UPDATED CRC AULRO SPEC!!!!!!

    Hi All,

Our engineers have been working hard making all the suggested changes to make a great product for you guys and the universe!
    So Check it
    1. Integrated sprayer head which is able to spray 360 degrees inside your chassis rail, offering a perfect clean to all sides.
    2. The sprayer head then is able to retract into the base allowing a multi purpose device to wash the rest of your AULRO.
    3. Our new custom made ring magnet has a pull strength of 30kg with addition to also being coated with a rust proofing to protect your investment
    4. Diameter of device will be reduced to back the device easier to use and get into those tighter spaces.

THE BEST IS YET TO COME
    THE PRICE

To produce this product for a affordable price, we had no choice but to remove the Made in Aus logo, and suck it up and sit down With our friends in china!

For the record this wasn't a surprise to me but I always give the aussie factories a chance, unfortunately so much comes down to dollar hey!

So we are hoping to be able to ship this product to you for around $35-$38 depending how hard I can squeeze AUS post.

Should we take the leap and get this thing happening for you guys and the rest of the folk out other????

The high pressure drain unblocked attachment for the Kartcher would do a Stirling job..I have one, can't remember what it cost though. Probably the same but 10 meters of hose. Propels itself.
