After some 25 years of fixing, modifying my 5 Range Rovers, 2 Jags (plus some 30 my other cars) and many "friends'" Land Rovers, I've opened a dedicated Land/Range Rover and Jaguar workshop to run me through to my retirement hopefully about 6-10 years!

I had Don do some work to my Disco. He did a great job and provided outstanding service. Really went to lengths to make sure the job was done right. He did right by me and has earned my respect and future business if in that area again.

Towoomba hill strikes again
On Saturday arvo I blew a top radiator hose on my 2010 RRS TDV8 while heading up that bloody hill leading in to Towoomba. Towing a van as well, managed to cut off a truck and christ knows how many others to pull into a safe lane. I was heading from Port Macquarie enroute to Darwin and wanted to make my first camp at Mitchell. At the time I thought the steam was smoke and one could only imagine the thoughts going through my mind. Thanks to my son who was a 1000 ks away accessing the internet and the aulro website I made phone contact with Don at RAD ROVER. What a gentleman, organised the tilt tray, came to the scene, even offered me space in his back yard to set up camp. I had already booked into the "pet friendly" Motor Village Caravan Park. It was no trouble for Don to tow me there. By now its very later on saturday arvo when most people have shut up shop and at home having a beer watching the footy or just relaxing, but not Don he sends me a text advising that he has diagnosed the RRS problems and assures me that its probably not major. What a relief for me. But theres more on Sunday morning a get another text from Don informing me that he has stripped and checked the vehicle and will be ordering parts first thing Monday. I hope I havn't caused any issues with his family. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to break down and get stuck in Towoomba. I have had nothing but good and positive service from Rad Rover and without hesitation would recommend Don to any and all of our mob who are part of the family that is known as "landrover"
Thank you Don
From Balanda Chris

Retirement of Rad Rover
After 9 years of busy Jaguar and Land Rover repairs and servicing, I've had to call it quits! I think at almost 73, and some health problems, and lost my best ever Indian mechanic, I've shut the doors to public. Retaining the workshop for a while, in order to try to reduce the large stock inventory I'v ecollected over the years, PLUS, fix up some 6-7 my cars and sell them off!

I thought you had closed a while back, I'd have been in had I realised you were still there.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
