Thread: Who wants shingleback sill tank for a 110?

Right hand, I would like both but funds don't permit it at the moment.

Yes I will, but the question is when. Firstly thanks to those who voted in the poll, but we still haven't reached 20 in any one tank yet. I've had good interest from many people but turning that interest into commitment is the challenge. Sorry it's taking so long but the best way to speed things up is for more votes!

I'm working on other things at the moment but haven't forgotten the 110 tanks, so thanks for your patience everyone. I still believe the tanks are an excellent product and believe that once a handful of the 110 tanks get out there they will sell quite well. To be realistic, unless we get more votes, I'll have the 110 done by the end of the year. Ready for the Land Rover 70th anniversary in 2018. Will keep you all posted.

Im keen on a LH tank (passenger side) for water storage, just voted in poll.

Looks good mate. i'ma welder by trade and spent a few years making moulds for plastic rotomould tank (and other products). Also built a few roller rocker machine and even an oven. We mainly worked in 2mm sheetmetal give you credit for doing it in ally.

Thanks Mate, I've made moulds from sheet steel also but the ally is much softer so easier to form into nice rounded shapes. And the ally has better heat distribution which gives better uniform thickness of the plastic. Cheers, Andrew.
