Oceana 7's, good result for Aus. I watched the games, some of those women can play, for sure. It was the best I've seen Aus. play. Pama Fau has bulked up , and was all power & presence. A young bloke from Vic., Hutchison, had a blinder. Both men & womens' teams have qualified for the Olympics. The mens' coach has resigned, [ personal reasons] the womens' coach stood in for the day, they are looking for a new mens' coach. No names mentioned yet, the main 7's comp starts in 2 weeks.

Young rugby players in this country should be heartened by the thought if they work hard, apply themselves, they could find themselves in Japan in 2019. Hopefully, this time the All Blacks will be in the pool of death. I look forward with anticipation to the next 4 years, boys.
They were not in a pool, they were in puddle. That draw was a disgrace and should never be allowed to happen again. I was in London for the 1/4s and that was the feeling from everyone that they had a free ride to the final.

You could see we were walking wounded compared to a full strength All Blacks outfit. When we got to within 4 points they looked rattled. We hold a couple of those dropped passes and it would have been a totally different outcome.

Funny thing is that off all the games I watched in Italy, England and Phuket on the way home, the only fans that went off like pork chops and spoiled the whole show were Kiwis who demonstrated Little Country syndrome.

I am marrieds to a KIWI and even she was embarrassed by their behaviour.

Me too. Already cutting back on the xxxx to save for the trip. That is a major sacrifice, by golly.
