Keith Miller was a great cricketer, one of our best. War Service in the Air force over Europe left him with his own demons, and his life after cricket is a sad one. Who can forget his answer when asked if he was under pressure at the crease, his reply, " pressure? pressure is a Messerschmitt up your arse at 20,000 feet." His sad story , not well known, still didn't dull the glow of his cricketing achievements.
