The coach resigns. Catharsis complete. Now we move on.

Darren Lehmann quits as coach of the Australian cricket team
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Warner, public enemy no1, may be a victim of Australian cricket culture. Cricket lost it's innocence during World Series Cricket, and has been more Hollywood than Bradman since. The sight of Aussies in the face of departing batsmen, followed by the rest of the World taking up the practice, spitting insults at departing batters, culminating in the South African fast bowler's aggression, well, its just not cricket. Or it shouldn't be. Strong leadership has been the hallmark of most outstanding Aussie. cricket sides. Somewhere Hollywood took over , and leaders became the producers of a black comedy.

Used and abused, David Warner was attack dog for a team out of control

Keith Miller was a great cricketer, one of our best. War Service in the Air force over Europe left him with his own demons, and his life after cricket is a sad one. Who can forget his answer when asked if he was under pressure at the crease, his reply, " pressure? pressure is a Messerschmitt up your arse at 20,000 feet." His sad story , not well known, still didn't dull the glow of his cricketing achievements.

Yep, they've been off for a while. Probably a generational thing.

    Aussies branded 'self-righteous' and 'abusive'
