India retain the Border- Gavaskar trophy, in one of the best Test Matches on Australian soil, Australia losing at the Gabba for the first time since 1988. Probably the best match I've watched, India had their Captain at home, 8 first class players out, and a number making their debut. They thoroughly deserved the win.

The announcement of a 19-man squad for a Test series against South Africa was always going to cause plenty of debate.
    And former Test captain
Michael Clarke certainly hasn't held back when asked his thoughts on some of the decisions made by Trevor Hohns and company.
With a Test series with the Proteas and T20I series against New Zealand potentially overlapping, Australia were tasked with picking two completely separate squads for the two different formats.

Sydney Thunder captain Callum Ferguson was "angry and ticked off" after being axed by the BBL franchise despite a bumper season.
Ferguson, 36, revealed on Saturday that he had not been offered a new contract by the Thunder, having chased a commitment throughout the season.
The veteran batsman made 405 runs from 15 innings in BBL 10, averaging 31.15 with a best of 61 not out. He was 10th on the tournament run-scorers list and second-best for the Thunder, trailing only gun import Alex Hales, who topped the BBL with 543 runs.

Anyone else watching India v England tonight? England 578 in the first innings and bowled India out still 240 odd shy but didn’t enforce the follow in - now 3 - 58 in their second innings. turned into a great game considering India were 5 - 70 at one stage.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

The Shield season will now consist of eight rounds followed by a final that is slated to start on April 15.
The one-day cup will run over five rounds, with its final scheduled for April 11.
The Shield, having started in an Adelaide hub last year, will now revert to being a home-and-away competition.
It will resume next Wednesday, when NSW host Victoria at the SCG while Tasmania take on Queensland in Hobart.
