Ahh,yes, the buildup. The silly season, sitting in the rain in the afternoon storm with an esky. Tumbling waters was always busy that time of year. Memories. We are going back one day. It gets in the blood.

We had a mate, Yogi, his nick name, had an acreage down off that road, back in the 80's. He built a home , concrete floor, rock walls around the kitchen, curtains down the middle separating living from sleeping. We used to go down with our families, shoot buffalo, magpie geese, have a BBQ . Marinated buffalo ribs........His shower was a pipe and shower rose under his water tank. He had diesel generator, and when they cleaned the Navy fuel tanks he came and got the dregs, from the bottom of the tank. He also had a Land Rover, series one. Good times.
