THE Xmas letter most pensioners don't want

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Bob, I think the word "most" is misleading in your title .

About 80% of pensioners will be unaffected by the changes.

I am in the happy position of gaining about $4 a fortnight .WOW!

I have to say that although we live frugally , we are relatively comfortable on the combination of pension and SMSF returns, although my wife is often longing for an overseas trip every year.

It means a lot of DIY like fixing the bloody stove element yesterday and I cannot afford a D3 or D4 let alone a huge caravan.

Now if only the stock market would recover.

    Regards Philip A

Thanks Philip. I can't think of any who would like that letter.
