    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    It helps if you love what you are doing.
    . "Seasickness has 2 stages, the first stage you are fearful you may die, the second stage you are afraid you may live. " Accurate description, I would say.
    [you may have to go back to the beginning]

    A more recent one perhaps. The late Stan Rogers wrote this. I think it's worthy of inclusion.

    How could I forget Stan Rogers. A proud Canadian, it was said if you sang with Rogers you grew an extra ball. If you kept singing, your balls grew a beard. Here he sings about Captain Franklin and the NW passage. The Erebus and Terror, the 2 RN ships in the expedition, have been found. The significance of this should not be overlooked. HMS Terror, during the War of 1812, bombarded Baltimore, and is said to have been a major influence in defeating the US forces trying to invade Canada. The finding of the two ships is said to cement Canada's claim on the waters in that part of the Arctic, with oil and gas rights. First the song, then the story.
    the song;

    In this song Rogers sings of sailing back to Maui, one of the islands in the Hawaiian chain.Our ship visited there after a RIMPAC exercise, back in the day.Maui was a home base for whaling ships, and one of the most beautiful places going around.There is/was a huge moreton bay fig tree on the water front, over 100 years old, back in about 75. It was easy to sit under it and imagine the whaling fleet at anchor in the bay. Being an old romantic ,I wondered if our scottish whaling ancestor called into Moreton Bay and bought back the seed to plant there. Then again, he would have sold it for profit.
