SubscriberShanghai and Singapore have overtaken Hong Kong as the major business hub in Asia. In 2047, when the basic law and all current agreements can be scrapped, then HK will come under the " one country, one system " philosophy. A fait accompli, in effect. Of more concern, I believe , is the fate of Taiwan. Under the radar at the moment. Watch that space.
