Maori history and culture, a podcast, Ockhams razor

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I have in my possession TANGI, the first novel by a Maori to be published. By Witi Ihimaera. He belongs to Te Whanau A Kai, sub tribe of Rongowhakaata. It describes, simply and sincerely, Maori values placed on life, and aroha, love and sympathy for each other. Of village family unity and rural Maori life. Published in 1973.
