Rugby U/20's world cup. I taped the rugby, and recently stricken with the flu, found the time to put the feet up, under a blanket and watch.and what great rugby it was, pure rugby, not tarnished by bad habits picked up from the cheating All Blacks, or the woeful Wallabies. Best rugby I've watched all year, a couple of players stood out. Can't remember all their names, one particular back from Sth. Africa, a couple of forwards from Georgia, but the standout performer was Louis Carbonal from France. Scored 22 out of 33 , of the French points. A solid lad , no. 10, confident, self assured [ at this level] tough, with all the skills. Remember this lads name, I think we may see him in 2023, at the World cup in France. France won England 2nd, S. Africa 3rd, NZ 4th, Aus 5th.

Phil Kearns, gaining a reputation for unusual commentary. I thought it was humerous, but something said at the pub, not on national TV.
