During my time as fire fighting instructor, at HMAS Penguin, we used as a training aid the CCTV footage of this incident. Especially if we had a class who thought fighting fires would not be their problem [ read seaman branch] It got their attention. A fire at sea is a terrifying occurrence. Thankfully, with the right training , and constant vigilance, an uncommon one.
