    300 TDI BASIC TOOL KIT?

    G'day All,

What size and type spanners and sockets would be ideal for the inevitable roadside repairs & tweaks? My LR is a MY 1997 300 Tdi auto SE7.

Are these wagons metric, AF or a mix of both?

    Thanks in advance
    Cheers William

Metric you'll be able to do 90% of the repairs and tuning with just a complete set of metric ring open ends Phillips and flat head screwdrivers and a set of feeler gauges

I find the proper tool for the fan & the prop shaft bolts quite handy .
