0 to 3 in 4 months, torque wrenches.

    Hello all,
When I bough the Disco 2a manual in late August, I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have 3, a 1/4, a 3/8 and a 1/2. As the engine has this odd squeak (crankshaft pulley, I think) I'll be getting a fourth. The 450Nm one.
I have to say, I am in a way enjoying the maintenance, although I have to admit it almost scares the whatsits out of me at times. Mainly because I am a bit new to this work. I can and have changed oil and air filters, oil, brake fluid, spark plugs and coolant, on various vehicles, even fixed a Holden HK gear box.
The good thing is, once I've done something once, I can do it again, so servicing will be a lot easier.
Just got the transfer case and gear box (new torx socket set) oils to change.

Then the brake fluid, should be easy enough with the Nanocom. (I hope)
    Cheers all

    Bo

Not far behind you with just having bought a 1/4" to do a couple jobs on Lady P and Charlie as the 1/2" wouldn't go low enough.

I almost grabbed a 3/8" New Year's Eve when I was chasing a 14mm hex head to undo a sump plug on the pulsar's transaxle but thankfully sanity prevailed, temporarily..........

    Cheers

    Steve
