Companion Made in Australia Gas Hand piece

    Hello All,

Can anyone identify the pictured Companion gas hand piece and describe its specifications and its name for me? It is connected to a barbeque-style gas bottle by a flexible hose. I would like to buy a similar unit. So far I have only been able to find hand pieces that screw into the disposable MAP gas bottles and these have less capacity. If I was able to accurately identify the specifications of the hand piece I could find a replacement for it.

The hand piece has an old Telecom "T" symbol so it might have been a special order for Telecom. The last time I used the hand piece the mud wasps had made a home in various holes and I had ignited gas burning all around my hand and arm. After cleaning out every orifice the hand piece still flutters and a seal somewhere is leaking. It used to be a really good tool to use and it would be great to be able to replace it.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

I have an equivalent of this one : Bromic 219741 Sievert Pro 86 Torch Heating Kit | Gasweld

Mine also has a refillable 450g primus bottle and adapter. So I can use it on the LPG cylinder or make it hand-held. I bought it close to 15 years ago at the green shed.
