SupporterI found these among other stuff I got from a friend’s clear out, but I have no idea what they are or what they would be used for. The various bits will all screw onto the wooden handle. Overall length of the bit with the handle is about 40 cm. I’m thinking something farming or drainage, but would be glad to know the right answer.
All suggestions welcome,
Cheers, Woolly.DDD2F2E3-74B3-48CE-8846-AD22D429B193.jpg7C28EBDF-D1CC-4547-A82E-2C6305EF11AC.jpgDDD2F2E3-74B3-48CE-8846-AD22D429B193.jpg7C28EBDF-D1CC-4547-A82E-2C6305EF11AC.jpg

They are attachments for drain rods.
There should be a set of rods, polypropylene or cane that screw together and these fit on the end.

I was thinking along the same lines, Colin.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

SupporterThanks Fellas, I think Colin hit the nail on the head. Pity I didn’t pick up the extensions, too.
Cheers, Woolly.
Not much use without the rods !
My dad had a set with cane rods, I got a set a while ago with polypropylene rods (they need to be able to bend a bit).
I've unblocked drains with them but nowadays a high pressure washer with a sewer jet hose does the job a bit easier.
I was always paranoid with the rods that they would break or uncouple and some would be stuck down the drain and you have to dig the pipe up ! Never happened but it was always a worry.
