I was gifted an old B&D router & planer adapter recently. Not sure of it's age but guessing 1960's, back when they made decent power tools.
The router works well, the edge guide & rods are missing and the base plate has some minor damage.
You can remove the router body from the handle assembly and clamp it in the planer adapter.
There is a long router bit for when you're using it as a planer.
I'll test it down at the Woodwork Club (I might get a plug adaptor with RCD first).
