Looks like you're going to be busy for a little while - should keep you out of trouble
The brakes on it already are a bonus

stand that spare up and youll have room for a large box up front!
I'd think about matching your car re: colour. - or as said BRG, something easy to match we had hammertone and all touch ups look like crap!

the ebay ad has disappeared by now , and I gather from your post that it didn't include the canvas?
but it seems like you've done well.... you could get some LR stickers to put on it ?
The cheapest new camper tents ready to install (that I found) are oztrail (from China) ranging from $1700 up.
OZtrail Leisure Products - Outdoor, Camping and Leisure Products
if it's afforable, I reckon the oztrail 8 because it folds over to the rear - not the side. That would be the go if you can be happy with non-Oz made.
As a comparison, I asked a Kangaroo Canvas over in Tamworth what they would charge to replace a simple fold-over canvas on a campomatic camper-trailer with Bradmill & they said for that for a simple foldover with awning it would be about $4k+ & 6 weeks!
I could go on for ages but I have observed that that you should be very careful buying an older camper-trailer with canvas - all the ones I looked at had not been stored correctly, and had mildew & odour (so I went the build-up route).

whatever you buy, buy quality, you want good canvas thats not going to soak through in a down pour, good stitching that won't leak, i think they are the most important things. From the ones i've owned/used i've learnt that you have to spend the dollars for quality. When i build my next one i think i'll be looking a $5k and up
, but i plan on being comfortable in the rain and everything staying dry.
