    2011 jayco

    Hi All,

I am a new member and still finding my way about the site.
I posted a thread in general and it has been suggested that I may get more response if I post in this section.

Has anyone seen the new 2011 outback range from Jayco? we ordered one last year for delivery 2011 thinking the changes to model were going to be minor and cosmetic. The dealer has told us that the changes are rather big and lots is different.

We have used our disco 3 to pull a pioneer for the last 5 years and the change to the softer option Jayco has been a difficult one.

    looking forward to hearing opinions.

Haven't seen one, probably the same as you LOL. From my point of view, most of the Jayco types are pretty ordinary when it comes to build quality when it comes to 'real' offroad. Other problem is that they are too bloody wide and too bloody long in the drawbar to get where we go with our trailer (O'briens offroad).
We'll probably upgrade to a Tvan this year as I need something I can out up and down by myself when I get to escape shmbo LOL.

I can't offer any really useful insight other than I really, really hope that the quality control and materials have improved, because the previous stuff from them has been woeful.

True off road campers they weren't

Interested to see what has changed.

Few changes I have seen. They have changed the interior decor to a darker wood finish and the boot area now houses the gas bottle.
