I found that polyairs an a std/lighter spring to have more ride hardening effect than if fitted to a heavier rated spring. Potentially as the 5 psi is still not having an effect on ride over the weight of the spring.

In my old mans D1 they need about 12psi before they start to take over from the effects of the swaybars. Tested with the swaybars disconnected (tested with the seat of the pants-o-meter)

IMHO there'd be nothing worse than having to get out and disconect the WDH before going off-road. You'd soon get sick of it.

That's obviously presuming that you will go off-road with the combination - you are on AULRO

This is the same problem that I have with the missus' Prado. It's great around town and even off-road not towing, but add the Trak Shak onto it and the back end sags quite a bit.

I will be fitting polyairs in the future due to the above comment.

    Cheers
    Chris

I am towing a 16 foot van that weighs about 1800kg + a heavy load in the back of the disco and have used polyaires for years. First had them in my rr clasic and now in the disco. Seen a 200 series cruiser at the head of the byte with a van worth close to $100000 and the draw bar was nearly dragging on the road and the headlights pointing at the moon. Would have thought with that many dollars invested it would have been set up right
    cheers

Too much money not enough brains.....only way you would buy a 200 series landcrusher. They cost RRS money....why would you even consider a yota?. There is more to towing "properly" and "safely" than meets the eye, it is more like a science.
    Regards
    Robbo.
