    Ordered my new camper

Ordered my new camper today, a Odyssey Export Signature with 16" wheels and a rack on the front box.

Delivery is in March and I will need to go to Caloundra to pick it up.

Now I need to get my current one sorted and sold to help pay for it

A long time to wait though.

Looks great- much more than my cheapy. Hope your planning some fun for it soon.

I wont show my wife who just had her first camping trip in my fleabay job!

Damm she saw it- now I have to put gashot water, shower & pantry ........ Ok I might get those nice big shocks, very well desinged box and think about that solar panel.
I agree about Tanks draw bar lenght coment "if" you do big ramp over angles. I bottomed out a very nice hired FAR AND WIDE trailer last year at both the front and back of that trailer which was not quiet as long as your new beast. A bit for drag is ok of course. The simpson might be off limits.

Geez that's a long drawbar, there will be a lot of places you will have trouble with, esp. on the Eco Drains, NPWS are starting to stop trailers using some tracks because of the damage to Eco Drains (personally I think bikes do more damage), it may be easier to back with a long drawbar but there will be problems on tight (narrow) bends, good luck, Regards Frank.

Our current camper has a 2 metre drawbar, it is quite high though, and we haven't had a problem as yet, 2 12 day visits into the high country included which had a lot of the eco drains so I am not expecting a problem with this one.
We will be fitting 17" wheels and it is quite high off the ground.
It will be our last buy and has to last us until the Great travel guide calls us to unknown pastures

Yes Inc, I had that in mind, just need to work out the route to your shop...........
early days yet, planning the trip is in infancy stages, probably heading through Broken Hill, Wilcannia, Bourke and Cunnamulla, perhaps then via Incs and up to Caloundra.
Going home we will probably follow the coast and head for Guy Fawkes to familarise ourselves with the camper and perhaps head for the high country for a few days
