    Haven't owned one personally...

My Aunt and Uncle who have been grey nomads for 25+ years bought one some 10+ years ago and haven't looked back, we have been on many trips with them and they are very happy with it.

Any warranty work seems to be handled well.

Thanks Caroline, I am thinking in the near future of selling the CT and looking for one for the long term. I have heard all sorts of praise for these products, and have seen a few I like the look of. We are pretty much relegated to 19ft or so as the 3500kg max Tare is about that size. The 110 now has a 250kg ball weight rated ARB towmaster hitch fitted, and 130 dual coils will be utilised to help out a bit. A return to 750 R 16 to get the gearing down a little from the 33"s will be mandatory too I reckon

Well the 4BD1 turbo 110 should tow it well then and won't run out of engine oil doing it

Won't be buying a new one though, there are some good used ones about.

I've towed in excess of 3.5 ton back from Sydney on 35" tyres, don't think you'll need to drop tyre sizes

i used to host their internet many many moons ago...

    them and phoenix vans

both about as good as it gets offroad.

one mob payed their bills the other diidnt

phoenix were lighter and wood framed

bushtracker were all alloy framed and a lot heavier

the old owner of phoenix is a good client/friend of mine still, i once asked him what was the better of them... his reply was buy an early viscount, do it up and be on your way

yell if you would like his number, quite a character ... and what he dont know about vans aint worth knowing...

A mate of mine picked up a second hand one a year or so ago. It's a single axle jobbie, apparently not many single axles made. Not sure why the previous owner replaced the swing arm coil suspension with leaf springs, it really needs to be changed back. Nicely fitted out inside. Bloody big unit though and he tows with a 100 series turbo'd. Expect the pay top $ second hand.

My mate is very happy with his buy.
