Sadly, a lot more Aussie businesses are going to go to the wall.
They're becoming expensive and they're not real good at customer service.
Trackabout Camper trailers Brisbane has just gone into administration.
A mate's warranty is probably now worth nothing unless the business is sold and the buyer honours the warranties.
Apparently, the cheap Chinese imports are killing locally made product.

My Trackabout could have been one of the last trailers made there before JT had to put the company into voluntary administration.
The reasons I went with Trackabout were the awesome reputation for build quality and there customer service, they were brilliant to deal with. I could not find on any 4wd or CT forums a bad word to say about Trackabout, such was there reputation.
I think it was a combination in the end of the GFC/fighting a constant battle against cheap chinese Trailers and cheap chinese quality canvas and a battle with the ATO.
This I beleive had an effect on JT's health over the last 12-18 months.
I wish him and all the workers at Trackabout the best for the future.
PS- I have absolutely no concerns about any warranties on the Trailer, because of the build quality and quality of the canvas and other materials.

That is a real shame, they look like a good quality CT, if the Aussie dollar stays as strong as it is there will be many more local businesses that end up the same way sooner then later.
