The one i have mounted on the Hilux has a 6mm thread contained within the alloy edging of the panel. I bolted it through the roof bars using the appropriate 6mm bolts and job done.
Hi Pedro,
here is the attachment kit that is used on our van, it is good as it allows plenty of air flow under it so the panels stay cool and it limits heat transfer into the van on hot days. Having two 135w panels on the roof our van made a big difference to the inside temperature over summer.
They have other kits as well if this kit doesn't work for you ...and yes you do basically glue them on.

Hi Pedro,
Personally I wouldn't use just corners especially with large panels. The long side brackets in that kit I linked to work really well.

Terry

with six points of attachment the van roof would need to be flat,, yes?
ASSUMING the last panel was installed properly there should be an electrical connector before the roof entry,, yes?
Should I put the second panel in front of the first?( no second wind drag, less cabling)
or
same place but on the navigators side to even the weight up?

Hey Pedro,
Remember to connect them at night so you don't get an electric shock
Erich
Even with our fibreglass roof, which is supposedly flat, we ended up with some brackets having a 1/4 inch of goo under them and others with nearly 1.5 inches of goo.
The trick is to bolt the brackets onto the panels and then glue them onto the roof.
Those particular brackets may be no good for your application but I guess its only a case of finding out there physical size and then seeing if they will fit in the flat areas of the aluminium sheets.
cheers,
Terry
