Replacement batteries for Kamper
The time has come to replace the batteries in the Kimberly Kamper. From what I have read getting 4 years from the 6 Exide ED10S (210Ah total) is on the higher side of their usual life.
I am very space limited with the batteries and have an area of 1200(L)x132(W)x200(H)mm to fit the replacement(s) in to without some serious modifications. My original thought was to go with 5 Optima Yellow Tops but they are too wide no mater how I orientate them. So I have come up with a list of possible replacements.
Lifeline - GPL-U1T - 6x33Ah = 198Ah, 6x10.9kg = 65.4kg - My preference.
Lifeline - GPL-1400T - 4x55Ah = 210Ah, 4x14.5kg = 58kg
Fullriver - DC35-12A - 6x35Ah = 210Ah, 6x11.5kg = 69kg
Ritar - RA12-33 - 6x33Ah = 198Ah, 6x10.2kg = 61.2kg
GEL-Tech - 8GU1H - 6x31Ah = 186Ah, 6x11kg = 66kg
I have no experience with any of these batteries. All are AGM except for the GEL-Tech. So what are peoples' thoughts, experience etc?
What other options are there that will fit in 1200(L)x132(W)x200(H)mm?
