    Trakmaster Van, first run

    New caravan finally arrived.
Looks a bit bigger on the outside than the old Jayco Penguin but seems to have the inverse tardis effect & feels smaller on the inside !!!

anyway same weight at Jayco 1600kg & tows about the same, made it to Adelaide from Yarra Glen (820klm) on the one fill up, & it looks like Ive got enough juice left for another 100klm or so, I was hoping to get a good 1000klm so I'll have to drop it back to 95kmh & see how we go. (Normally get 1200klm without the Van before I have to start looking for a servo)

Only thing I Hate is the Hyland Hitch, I'm going straight to Trigg Bros factory tomorrow to pick up a proper off road hitch. (I can't stand the bump noise from the hyland hitch )

Just have to get it dirty now

Looks good, they certainly make for a quick set up when you reach camp. I think that why SWMBO loves ours.

I notice the Defender wheels/stud patern, very nice touch.

    Cheers
