My new (2007) Ex ARA Haulmark PT1 750Kg Off Road Trailer

I’m a very happy boy with my new purchase of a very good condition 2007 (last year of production) ex ARA trailer and NATO Dixon Bate rotating Pintle hitch.
Disc brakes, internal cargo tie down, rust proof, huge articulation, fantastic off road and heritage and takes the same rims as my Defender!
These cost the Federal Government around $23K each when new in 2007!
This trailer is a keeper!

Bit of upgrade work on the Jurgens today.
I did have 4x100w semi flexible panels but the damn things failed in under 2 years - so I’ve been running on a single 115w Victron for the last year or so.
It’s marginal, good days mean we never run out of power (there’s 160ah of useable on board) however a few bad solar days and we were in trouble.
Today I finally got to do the 2 jobs I had the parts sitting here for since Feb.
Fitted the second 115w Victron panel

And fitted the new skylight/vent.
Extra helpful when we just pull up for an overnighter and don’t want to be lifting the roof.

Further upgrades to come as the enthusiasm is back! (And makes a pleasant distraction from home renovations, D2 modifications etc).
