    Cheap fix for old zips.

My Camp'o'matic is now 15 years old and a few things are starting to wear out.
I have been away for 6weeks and the zip on the main door flyscreen would not stay zipped at the bottom.
I did the normal squeeze the slider bit but it didn't work, so I thought that I am maybe up for a new zip at fabulous cost as the tent would have to be taken off the trailer.
As a last resort I looked on the internet and found the correct size slider. On a YKK zip the slider size in my case was stamped on the end of the slider and is 10C, c being for continuous nylon coil.
I ordered a couple from a place in the USA at $5 each and fitted one today, and the zip once again grabs and would not separate with a bit of tugging, so looks like it is OK for a while yet.
    Regards Philip A

Another quick fix so to speak is candle wax on the zips - it helps to prolong their life.

Agree, I use Dri-Glide but when the channels on the slider get too deep you have to replace them..

If you still need them we can supply you complete zips, same ones we use on the Oztent. You`ll need to have them sewn in. PM Me...
