Yeah I reckon they look like good bang for the buck, and super competent to follow the defender.

My parents had a Cub Spacematic, not 4wd but had the upgraded suspension. The only thing to fail mum and dad was the springs so they fitted aftermarket one. Cub campers were not interested when asked if they would chip in for better springs. Sitting here having a beer with dad he reckons when set up in windy condition the canvass blows around too much (keep im mind this model was the longest at the time) and were a bit of a pain to level up if not on flat ground......other than that they did a lap around Australia so more good point than bad.

I used it on a month long trip to tassie and thought were good value for money and made it back in one piece. I didn't have any troubles setting it up I do agree the canvass does move around a fair bit in it windy conditions.

I would not have thought they would be a true blue off road camper but in saying that I have only used an in road version.
