Thanks for that info Ross. I have some Olympic Steetreks to go on it and one of the old tyres at least will be fitted to the back corner of the 107 to keep it off the ground in the shed instead of the blocks of wood.

Nah Leroy, I'm sure yours will turn out just fine too. I'm so slow is the main trouble. I keep an eye on all the build threads as some people have some great ideas and extraordinary skills.

The tub came from Haylock's wreckers in Kotara. I can't recall where the trailer (with water tank mtd) came from, it could've been Warwick Lord. The oval cross-section looking water tank had a few taps along the back for filling army canteens.

The chassis came from inner sydney city somewhere, late night pickup, had a massive (water?) tank on it. Still remember painting it brunswick green..

I want your tail gate! That's brilliant. I wish mine looked as good as yours. Alas, I don't have the skills, money or time to dedicate to my trailer to achive what you have. So I'll continue to drool over yours. But I'm going to steal your latching idea for the tailgate

Top coat has now been applied and lights added. I'm not entirely happy with the paint, but that's how it goes.





It doesn't look too bad behind the tow vehicle, although I think the hitch needs raising about 50mm to make it level





Now to build the top and fit the rooftop tent.
