    Redback Kakadu

    Anyone got one?

    What do you think?

    How is it offroad
How's the quality of the canvas and fittings
How quick is it to set up
Is there enough space on the ground area for two kids on camp beds?

We have a Redback Country Explorer, with the walkway, the trailer is brilliant and the canvas and zippers are excellent quality, BUT, his stitching leaves a lot to be desired, very poor workmanship and he supplied us with the wrong top, 18mths it took to get it sorted, Aaron is very hard to deal with.

Hopefully he has improved, Ray Clarke from Country Campers used to build his trailers, top notch work and tough as trailers, had ours for 8yrs now, can't fault it, although the camper has never leaked, you can still see his bad workmanship, still he does use good quality canvas, that's proven by how long it has lasted.

Have a look at Central Coast Canvas, his workmanship is very good and he uses only the best quality canvas, Ray Clarke used to build his trailers as well.

You'll need to go for the bigger tent size, option 2 is the better size for your needs, that's what we have 16' x 16' 6", option 3 is too small.
