Camec door lock
G'day all.
Yesterday I noticed that the Camec door handle/lock on my 2011 model van went limp when I locked it. Normally, the "handle" would snap into place flush with the lock assembly once locked and resist coming out but now the handle is limp. But the door seems properly locked. Any ideas? I have heard that these locks are not the most durable of items.

Likely the spring inside maybe needs reseating, google for the YouTube vid on how to pull them apart.
Design feature is they snap if too much pressure as the kids found out in the first weeks of our trip

Hey Yorkie.
I pulled it apart the other day and it turned out not to be the spring, well kind of, it's the little plastic piece inside the handle that keeps the spring from turning. I'll try to fix but replacement handles are readily available. Just means iv'e got a floppy handle.
