    Cub overide to electric brakes??

Ok so I am looking into getting rid of the override brakes on my Cub Daintree le (which has independent suspension, the main issue) and after getting a price on parts from cub $4200 I need to find a cheaper option. Now first problem is the independent suspension and the backing plates. The stub is apparently not long enough for the bearing spacing's for the electric brakes. So new swing arms must be purchased!
OR I can leave the override discs that are on there and convert them to electric over hydraulic with new callipers.
OR machine up some Landover spindles (narrow bearing) to fit over the stub axles, fit Landover discs and jag callipers as they have the handbrake lever in them and convert to electric over hydraulic.

    help please

Never heard diferent bearing spacing for electric brakes versus non braked???? Have read articles where they just added brakes to the axle they had..

    Look here

I would if it was mine:

    1. Grind off the calliper mounts
    2. Weld on the electric drum brake backing plate mounts
    3. Mount the Off Road electric drum brakes
    4. Use the override cable and handle for the hand brake.

My Cub currently has no brakes, but am thinking of fitting electric Off Road drums as the Disco has a controller.

That's exactly what I was planning to do, but got the same answer from cub and al-ko, they won't fit. I haven't really looked into it to hard yet, just sourcing info at the moment, tis will be a project to start in October.

If you currently have hydraulic over run brakes this may be an option for you.
I found this thread a good read not long ago.

This looks simple, I just need to see if I can get the override discs in rover stud pattern, then adapt some jag calipers, electric over hydraulic actuater, some plumbing and I'm done
