Current drama is the axle and brakes. Was going to use the overide disks off our cub camper and upgrade its brakes to electric with land rover pattern. Simple i thought! But due to the bearings used on the stub axle (holden outer bearing) i have to go to a 12" electric drum ($400 each with bits) and then the axle i have to get to use the overide discs on the bike trailer is around $380!. Ahhhhhh
I know override discs seem like a good idea, but wait till you try and find replacements if you should need to on the road, I can tell you from first hand experience, it's impossible and the disc hubs were HQ Holden, heaps of drum and non braked hubs(which I had to settle for) but no disc hubs to be found, at the time we were camped near Mansfield, even Wodonga had none in stock.
I'd stick with override drums if I were you, that's what I went back too.
