    Hi People.
Just been researching pull out kitchen options for camper trailers. Not much available it seems.
Probably looking at the stainless steel style ones on Ebay.

That's not a bad looking kitchen Andrew. The only thing I would ask if it's imported, and thus what grade stainless is it made from.

From what I've seen, most imported stainless doesn't seem to be up to par on the quality stakes. Being so cheap, I doubt its made here. That's not necessarily a bad thing, just means you need to take care, keep it clean and dry when you can.

In our camper, the stainless is prone to rusting easily, which can be annoying as it looks unsightly. If I could tig weld, I'd be making my own replacement unit.

    Andrew,

    Drifta make excellent pull-out kitchens.
    ? CAMPER TRAILER KITCHENS ? Drifta Camping & 4WD
They are not stainless but are good quality and made in NSW. May be useful for you that Drifta can customise to your exact requirements.

I have a stainless pullout in my camper trailer. It's chinese and so far has been excellent. It came with the trailer so can't help with suppliers of stand-alone kitchens.

    Cheers,
    Scott

Hi Andrew. It looks OK ... But I'm with Scott. The Drifta DPOR at $990 is better value for money IMHO. We were very critical of how much bench space CT kitchens DON'T have. A lot of offerings out there lack decent prep' space ... Which is why the current KK kitchen bench appealed to us. Nothing worse than trying to prepare a meal on the back of a postage stamp!

Yeah, I know DB, and I could pull out the Stick and use that too, but if one plays ones cards right, maybe one can buy himself a little Caddy

With the Mig, I think it might be a bit expensive to do the swap over thing for the amount I'm going to use it too.

If you go gassless, then just buy a kitchen it will be cheaper :P but if you get gas, although still not really cheap it's a better economy. O yea stick can do it too.... I forgot about that.

Back on track though, sorry guys. I'm loving the look of the drifta swing out DSO. I'm thinking of making my own version of it to suit my No5 trailer.

That's true. While our kitchen is good and solid, with a decent stove and sink, there's minimal bench space.

So we use tables to gain bench space, which is not as user friendly. It would be nice if the kitchen came with bench space like your KK. But it's to a budget.

The Drifta kitchen does have good bench space that folds out and I prefer the laminex surface to stainless anyway.

    Cheers,
