    trailer hubs to match d1

can anyone tell me which hubs to buy to match my d1 ?
obviously i'll pull the existing ones off to check (just haven't done it yet).
are there any other options other than alko ?

Any competent trailer parts place should be able to make you up a set. The stud pattern is common to d1, rangie classic, defenders and series landless

Martins trailer parts over here have hubs to suit in their catalogue.

    Cheers

Martins Trailer parts are really good.
They can make the axle to match your vehicle track.
They did for me,using D2 gear and electric brakes, nobody else would touch it.
They send stuff all over Australia, you need to deal with the main branch, which is Bayswater.

5x165 pcd I think. Alko should stock them. If you want to match the trailer up to your wheel track the hub to hub distance is 1550mm, but you might be best off checking that on your vehicle. If you give Alko or any trailer spares shop that info they should be able to get you matching hubs and axle.

    Be careful with ALKO.
They will supply the PCD but the studs will be imperial so you cannot put mag wheels on.
    Steel wheels are OK .

yeah landrover steel rims. I have 10 + another offset set which i'm selling.
What's the rule of thumb with maintain wheel clearances for a trailer ? My trailer is 1220mm width (7x4). Going to run standard 235x70.
Not sure if I can find a replacement hub from Trojan (current setup) it might be easier to get a whole Axel with brakes made up.
Also not sure what the current brakes are rated for either.

Trojan is just a chinese alko rip-off, so they should be interchangeable.

Your wheel offset will most likely be wrong though.

I'd also recommend installing 16mm studs and using genuine nuts, which are a different taper.
