    Robert Pepper.

I normally find Robert's videos informative and interesting.
In this instance I think Robert is way off the mark.

It won't be hard to pick my comment.

I'm not quite sure what to say, I think in this and other tech videos he has done, he has thought a lot about it, but he doesn't have a more full perspective on it. Especially in this case from a manufacturers, legal and practical users perspective. Its been great cranial exercise for him though. I would bet that Bruder or the tyre manufacturer do not recommend doing that load shifting in their caravans.

He doesn't seem to realise that vehicle regulations stipulate the maximum difference in axle loads for non-sharing axle groups. Also, IMO, he doesn't stress highly enough the danger of having the front axle taking more load than the rear, seeming to favour some extra load on the front axle to reduce TBM.

I run my van's non-load-sharing front tyres at slightly lower pressures than the rear tyres to increase stability, albeit with the trade-off of slightly higher TBM.
