    Saw a Podtrailer last night

Saw one of these Pod Trailers on my way home last night

Thought they would be fantastic for loading up with luggage when touring, small, lightweight, waterproof, cheap....

All good except for the cheap part, gave them a ph call last night approx $2.5k, to expensive for me

hmmm.... my "pod" one cost me $1000.

Managed to score a great second hand off road trailer, modded my roof bars to fit the side bars on it and then chucked my roof box on them.....

    3 things in one!

Okay... in the end i bought one

We leave for holidays on Thursday and i had no way of moving the stuff required!

Some of my suggestions to Catherine have been-

    1. Sorry we cant take any Xmas presents so you don't need to shop anymore
    2. Make sure all the Xmas presents are small, she returns shopping with a bike
    3. We have a choice we can take Xmas presents or clothes, not both
    4. We can take the Xmas presents and clothes but not the kids
    5. We can buy a Pod trailer

One Podtrailer on the Mastercard (Visa already full)

I may have to sell the kids in January to pay for it tho!

    geez that sounds familar

i'm trying to pack a cub camper for our next month or so on the road

i asked that megs consider buying small presents and maybe arrange for a somebody at the other end to purchase some for us - i now have to try and squeeze big present into spaces that are not big enough plus i have to make sure the kids don't see them foro the four days that we are travelling prior to xmas

god knows what we will end up with and the fact that i will have to drag around tassie with already limited storage space.

i just can't see the kid after only having one day with there presents agreeing to leave them at somebody elses place that they hardly know for the 20 days while we are over seas, well tassie

    I keep getting told -

"you have to be nice to us"

"we get to choose your retirement home"

    and my reply is -

"and i get to choose how much debt you will inherit"

The "Pod" worked a treat for our recent trip, it was 1/3 full with alcohol, 1/3 full with Xmas pressies and 1/3 full with food, clothes and stuff. It also had 4x bikes, helmets and inflatable boat up on top....It was like a life size game of Tetris trying to fit everything in....i reckon with the way i fill it up i might have to add brakes to it at some stage

    Hi there matt.

Just readying up on the podtrailer and came accross your post which was helpful especially with the photos.

Just wondering if you have any more feedback after owning the trailer since January. Any further good or bad points you can provide.

I am looking at purchasing one but the proce tag is making me hesitate.

We have a small hatch back car (2.0l), but need a trailer for gardening and stuff and the pod would also be good for holidays etc to take extra luggasge as you have explained above. Also the light nature of the trailer sounds good for my small car.

Any feedback would be appreciated by yo uor anybody else has one of the pods.

    thanks
    Kim
