Thread: Trailer mods

Hi guys and gals,

Thought you trailer buffs might be interested in the latest mod I've done.

When I built the trailer a couple of years ago, I used 75x50x3 RHS for the draw bar and this was fine for it as a box trailer.




But then I made a builders style roof for it, and with a boat on top the draw bar was starting to flex due to the pendulem effect of the 80 kg boat up so high.




So I've added an extra bit to the thing - which SHOULD be enough

The 100x50x3 bit I made earlier ( infront of the sausage ) :-
